Kat Sparshott of Katsock Crafts is a knitter from Gloucestershire, who now lives on the Isle of Arran, by way of South London and Essex. 

She has been knitting for over 40 years.

Kat knits children’s wear, babies’ blankets, cushions, cowls, adults’ socks, scrunchies and keepsake cushions of her beloved adopted island home. 

She also knits a small range of soft toys, all independently CE-marked: elephants, cats, dogs, penguins, rabbits and bears.

She uses yarns in a combination of wool and acrylic mix – as this means the finished item is soft against the skin but also machine washable (even the soft toys!)  The wool or delicates setting is recommended.
